Worship Artifacts

WEARABLE SOUNDING OBJECTS

Worship Artifacts are wearable sounding objects 'aimed at awaking the mythological powers of the coyote for the patron.

The rich lore of the American Southwest assigns to coyotes a range of numina: the ability to call upon rain, incite mischievous laughter, and communicate with celestial bodies and the Moon.

The sound design for each of the objects reflects upon its unique individual power. The protective headpiece broadcasts the rain, the aerophone armor resonates the body with laughter and the Moon-shaped shoulder piece transmits howling and animal talk.
